Starting Water / Sewer Service

If you are a new customer and wish to start service with us or if you are an existing customer and are moving within our District, please complete our online New Service Request Form or call our office 619-258-4600 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday. Please submit your request at least 24 business hours in advance of the date you wish service to begin.

Please note, we cannot accommodate same-day, holiday or weekend service requests.

We will need basic credit information in order to open a water/sewer account. Please have the following information available when you call:

  • Address
  • Date service is to begin
  • Email address
  • Mailing address
  • Name
  • Social Security Number
  • Telephone number (work and home or cell)

Currently, we bill our accounts on a monthly basis. Your first bill will likely be prorated from the opening date until the next billing date, so your first bill may be smaller than normal. Your first bill will also include a $25 to $28 New Account Fee. Find out more about how to read your bill here.


 If you are renting, we will need the owner of the property to complete and return an Owner Acknowledgement Form prior to beginning water service. This form can be emailed to us.
